FREDDIE
"Freddie" was the project of the "first times". We launched a crowdfuning campaign in order to finance the project, and it was as success. Although it was very low cost, and that carried some worries with it, we learned the punky way, we pulled ahead. Team work is key, and we created a great team!
I've learned to work professionally and to solve any problem that can come up in a shooting (and there are many). Production is the first to get on set and the last one to leave, and that also means to be the first in getting out of bed and the last get back in. But when at the end of the day everything is shot and everyone happy, the satisfaction is indescribable.

"Freddie" is my first short-film as Executive Producer. But it's not just for that reason that I will keep it always in my heart.
"Freddie" talks about facing what you always thought couldn't happen: the death of your father. Alfredo is a guy that hasn't spoken to his dad for ages and he has followed a life apart from his family, who despise him. Nevertheless, when he gets to know his father is living his lasts moments, he realises he has wasted his time not spending it with him. He tries to say goodbye although his family keeps him away scared he will bring problems.
I jumped into the Production of this short-film very sudden and with no experience, and the outcome can't be more gratifying. I met Adrià, the director, in another short-film shooting where I was Assistant of Production (my third or fourth shooting). The second time we met on set, he talked to me about this project saying he needed someone to take care of the production and help him to push the project up. Without a second thought, I volunteered, and I learned as I worked, which I think it's the best way. I thought he would notice I hadn't done that before and he would look for someone else, but we worked as a team and we made cinema.
